Reflection

What I enjoyed on textile day was using paper to make something interesting without adding anything to it. Then I proceeded to add tape and took photos in different lighting. The line drawings were also interesting because I was doing most with my left hand which isn't my dominant hand. I'm learning that there are no limits to what textile design can be. I have always known that I'm a surrealist and I am excited to incorporate my style into textile design. As well, I'm interested in designing garments whether it is hats, jewelry, shoes, furniture etc. and I'm now certain that textiles will give me the freedom and range I need to express my art.
