Reflection

Research reflection:

I was surprised by the lack of information on the internet and media on the climate issues of Araguaia state park. Our group was lucky enough to have a member that was from Brazil who knew about the climate issues in this particular park. Illegal mining of minerals was something I couldn't find on the internet because it is hidden from the media by the government. I do wish I had brought more interesting materials to work with such as paint and textiles. Our group works extremely well together. We listen to each other's opinions and bounce ideas off of each other which is crucial for a great group dynamic. I think that making a larger abstract piece that represents the unfortunate forest fires the parks in brazil have suffered would be interesting. This is due to the extreme dry season. As well, the parks suffer from annual flooding due to the drastic change in the climate.
